About the VFW 3513

The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) is an American nonprofit organization founded in 1899 to provide support, camaraderie, and advocacy for U.S. veterans who have served in wars, campaigns, and expeditions on foreign soil, waters, or airspace. The VFW fosters community among veterans, serves as a voice for them in Washington D.C., and promotes patriotism through community services and programs. It is the largest organization of war veterans in the U.S., with nearly 6,000 Posts worldwide and over 1.7 million members and their families.

The VFW provides a range of support, including:

• Legislative advocacy in Washington D.C.

• Community service initiatives.

• Financial and emotional support for members and their families.
