Tournament Event Wrap Up

What an AWESOME day of poker at Oxford Downs Poker Room in Summerfield, Florida, for the WPF Ladies Weekend Championship!!

With women competing in events around the world October 16th through 18th, it was so much fun being part of this worldwide celebration of women's poker! ❤️

I had the pleasure of representing the WPF as the Ambassador for today's event and hosting alongside Huyn, Poker Manager at Oxford Downs! We kicked things off with a little coffee and donuts meetup at 10:45 AM, giving everyone a chance to hang out, catch up, and enjoy some time together before hitting the tables!

And then it was time for some POKER!!

We had 48 entries and a total prize pool of $5,320!

A HUGE congratulations to our WPF Ladies Weekend Oxford Downs Champion, Susan Macpherson from Riverview, FL!!

Susan and Antoinette "Toni" Fiorenza from DeLand, FL made it all the way to heads up before deciding to split the first and second place prize money evenly, each taking home $1,755 and a trophy! Susan had the larger chip stack at the time, officially earning her the championship title!

A HUGE thank you to Huyn and the entire Oxford Downs team for hosting such a great event, and to the Women's Poker Association (WPA) for joining us to help celebrate our final table players!

It really was such a great collective effort, and I loved being part of it!

And of course, THANK YOU to every single lady who came out to play! I absolutely LOVE seeing women come together, support one another, make new friendships, reconnect with old friends, and enjoy this game we all love so much!

What a FUN day!! Congratulations again to Susan, Toni, and all our amazing final table players!!
