Rivers Philadelphia Wrap Up
Rivers Casino • Philadelphia
It was an honor to represent the World Poker Federation (WPF) as an Ambassasor for the weekend. Poker has become such an important part of my life it’s a gift to realize all it has taught and afforded me. My goals are simple; 1) to grow the game for women and to elevate the experience.
Rivers Philadelphia WPF Ladies Weekend
The World Poker Federation Ladies Weekend kicked off Friday Oct 16th with a cash meetup game. What a powerhouse of an event.
The Ladies Bring It!
The Ladies Main Event was one for the record books. We busted through our 10k guarantee.
We were treated to a complimentary dinner buffet and wine bar on our dinner break. Give aways and trophies were handed out.
To say everyone was happy is an understatement. We worked hard to ensure everyone had a great experience, regardless of whether they went home with cash.
Payouts
Our prizepool was $1170 and Sarah Waschk took home the hardware.
Final Table Showdown - Our Top 6 Ladies in the Money

3rd: Kim Action Baltimore MD $1769
4th: Alice Isidro Philadelphia PA $1415
5th: Frannie Hoff Brooklyn NY $1061
6th: Hyun Ko Cherry Hill NJ $825
And our bubble was Nancy Martin
KINGS & QUEENS
Our Kings and Queens event drew 44 players and what a battle it was! Teddy Ames took home the Kings trophy and our own WPA Advocate, Nicole Neal took home the Queens trophy. They did and ICM chop which ultimately gave Nicole the win!
Those trophies proved to be quite the hot commodity and I suspect the next one will be even more competitive.
Payouts
1st Kerri Salamanca
2nd Stacy Sesate
3rd Jenni Depolo
4th Francine LeRoy
5th Jeff Quint
